DECT

We have a DECT network, which allows you to use a cordless landline phone wherever you are on site.

To use it, you'll need to bring a DECT handset with you. The most compatible brands are Mitel and Gigaset, but if you're about to buy one please check the DECT compatibility list first to see whether that model is supported.

We have not tested every single model of DECT, so if you've got one that's not on the list, you're welcome to bring it anyway and see if it works.

Handset Timezone

The DECT network sends time in UTC not BST, so some phones may show the time an hour too early.

We recommend checking if your handset has a time zone option. For Mitel 6xx/7xx series handsets, you can set this as follows:

  1. Open the Main Menu.
  2. Select 'Time/Alarms'.
  3. Select 'Time zone'.
  4. Set to '+1 hours', as BST is UTC+1.
